Emem Eduok scored twice as Kasimpasa beats ten-man Alanyaspor
Nigerian striker, Emem Eduok opened his 2018 goal scoring account with a brace for his club Kasimpasa in their 3-2 home win against Alanyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig.
The visitors took the lead through Efecan Karaca in the 15th minute before Strahil Popov connected Eduok to restore parity in the 22nd minute, but just before the end of the first 45 minutes the visitors took the lead again through a penalty converted by Emre Akbaba.
In the 71st minute Eduok again benefited from an assist by David Pavelka to level scores again for the home team.
With pressure mounting on the visitors, Mamadou Fofana was shown red for a rough tackle in the 82nd minute and five minutes later Kasimpasa capitalized on the one man down as Mbaye Diagne struck in what was the last and winning goal for the home side to the delight of the fans at the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadi.
The win takes the team to 11th position with 22 points after 18 games.
My dream is to play for Chelsea
Emem Eduok had said that his dream is to play for Chelsea football club in the English Premier League.
The Nigerian professional footballer, who plays for Turkish club, Kasimpasa gave the hint last week while interacting with sports journalists in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
According to Emem Eduok, “My dream is to play in the English Premier League, specifically Chelsea football club because they play my kind of football, physically attacking game. Their players are always very physically fit. So I like the club.”
The striker said with the skills that he has, there is no club in the European that he cannot fit it, but he always admired some top clubs in the English Premier League as well as Spanish La Liga.
