The alleged lover of the lady who committed #suicide by jumping off the 3rd Mainland Bridge into the lagoon, has been picked up by the police, as more details about their affair are emerging.

According to one Nick Sparkles, the deceased was based in Texas, U.S and married with 3 kids. She allegedly got involved with another guy in #Nigeria. The lover allegedly swindled/collected over N10m from her.

Sparkles revealed that the lady later got him arrested, only for him to release the nude pictures of them together in order to prove his innocence to the police that whatever happened between both of them was consensual and that he’s not a fraudster as claimed by the deceased.

The blackmail from the man allegedly got to the lady’s husband and this compelled him to conduct a DNA test on all their 3 children which later turned out that they are not his children. The series of events allegedly pushed the deceased into committing suicide.

An update on the report reveals that her lover who duped her of N10 Million and released her n#ked pictures was arrested from the hospital (as seen in the video below). He is said to have suffered from shock, upon hearing what had happened as a result of his releasing her nude photos…

LASEMA, police search for Lagos woman who jumped into lagoon

The search for a woman who allegedly dived into the Lagos Lagoon on Sunday has been intensified.

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency and Marine Police, supported by local divers, had been looking for the yet-to-be identified victim in the lagoon.

It was learnt that the woman had around 5pm plunged into the lagoon after coming down from a cab.

Some motorists had initially said a Ford Explorer SUV left on the Third Mainland Bridge was owned by the victim.

However, investigations by rescue workers showed that the vehicle was owned by a first responder.

A source said, “The vehicle at the scene of the incident did not belong to the woman who jumped into the lagoon. Actually, the woman boarded a separate cab to the scene before jumping into the lagoon around 5pm on Sunday. The driver of the SUV saw her and tried to rescue her, but he could not.”

The LASEMA General Manager, Adesina Tiyamiyu, said, “We can state categorically that the owner of the Ford Explorer was not the one who jumped into the Lagoon. We have spoken to the man and his wife and they are both hale and hearty. However, the man, who drove the vehicle, confirmed that he saw a woman plunge into the Lagoon. So, efforts are ongoing to recover her body. It will be premature to say anything further on the case.”

The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Chike Oti, told our correspondent that policemen had been deployed in the area.

He said, “No official report was made on the matter. It is best described as the news making the rounds. We decided to send our men to join the rescue effort because we don’t want to leave anything to chances.”

Although no one had yet to ascertain the identity of the woman, the social media was awash with reports that the victim was a housewife who allegedly got caught up in a web of extra-marital affair which broke up her home.

The police, however, insisted that the identity of the victim had yet to be ascertained because no one had come forward to report the matter or identify her.

“We have yet to hear from anybody, so we cannot tell who she was,” the police spokesperson, Oti, said.
